Job description for Church Administration:
Chapfech Ministries is looking for a God fearing, motivated independent self starter to manage and oversee all administrative functions of the church. This is a part time position (Tue & Thurs. 6:00 to 9:00pm) whereby the applicant will be expected to interact with the Pastoral staff, ministry leadership, members and sister church contacts. Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
o Primary assistant to the Sr. Pastor
o Manage Sr. Pastor Calendar and appointments
o Creation of flyers for special services
o Marketing brochures & distribution
o Manage and oversee Web Site development
o Manage calls and setup appointments for Pastoral Staff
o Maintain church calendar
o Maintain church databases
o Manage and administer phone tree
o Answer phones and forward messages to appropriate personnel
o Check and forward church e-mail to appropriate personnel for action
o Develop and maintain accurate correspondence filing system
o Distribute official church correspondence
o Collect announcements from ministry leaders for Sunday announcements
o Ensure adequate supply of all church forms
o Provide administrative and clerical support to church leaders
o Record minutes at weekly staff meetings
o Monitor and maintain office equipment
o Responsible for purchase of office and church supplies

o Interpersonal relations, teamwork and support of church ministries
o Confidentiality regarding all account records, benevolence, and counseling of the church, staff,
and members
o Reliable and resourceful
Requirements:
High School Diploma required
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Publisher
o Capable of multi-tasking
o Ability to plan, organize and prioritize
o Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
o Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
o Previous church administrator experience preferred
o (3) References required
